The first Bud camping trip of the season. We camped at Tumalo State Park 5 miles out of Bend. We did three day rides: 1. Big ride around the outskirts of Bend. This used to be all in the country but now it's mostly in the city! 2. Ride from Sisters out to Camp Sherman and beyond to Wizard Falls Fish Hatchery. 3. Ride from the camp up to Redmond on the old Bend-Redmond highway and for a select few, beyond Redmond to Smith Rock State Park near Terrebone.
In the evenings we sat around Bud/Arden's campfire making S'mores, eating Jiffy popcorn, drinking wine and standing under cover out of the rain. Another good time was had by all.
